Item Care Reccomendations
Item Care:

Crackle glazed pieces: Such pieces will inherently stain overtime and are more susceptible to chipping compared to mass produced wares. They are objects of everyday use, but they’re artisan and therefore require more care than normal mass produced ceramics.

Metallic Glazes: Some items have a metallic warning in the description. They are more prone to damage from chemicals, acids, dishwasher use and scratching. NEVER use microwave for metallic glazed pieces as it can lead to explosions and fire. Additionally, pieces that are glazed with a metallic finish all around or inside the ware are NOT food-safe and are not meant for warm/hot food. Therefore, all health responsibility lies with the client based on their use of the tableware. Human Oriented (Handicraft Works) does NOT take any responsibility for the damage or health issues caused by the tableware in case of misuse.

Please handle your pots with care. It's best to wash them by hand and avoid using strongly pigmented foods or liquids that could stain. Try to clean them soon after use and avoid leaving liquids in them overnight or for extended periods. For similar reasons, I generally don’t recommend using the microwave or dishwasher. Most of the handmade ceramics are hand-washed, as they’re not as tough as mass-produced pieces. While they can be used in the microwave or dishwasher, it’s better not to. Handwashing is always the safest choice for handmade pottery.
